Ex-Sunderland managers in bookies odds for Everton job

Former Sunderland managers David Moyes and Sam Allardyce are included among the bookies odds to replace Ronald Koeman at Everton.

Everton have sacked Koeman following their 5-2 defeat to Arsenal after just 16 months in charge.

Bookmakers BoyleSport­s have made the Toffees Under-23 manager, David Unsworth the early 5/2 favourite to replace Koeman with former Black Cats boss David Moyes 4/1 second favourite to return as the gaffer at Goodison Park, having left the club in 2013 to take over as Manchester United manager.

Burnley’s Sean Dyche, who was also tipped for the Leicester managerial position, is also in the mix at 13/2.

Moyes resigned as Sunderland boss this summer, replaced by Simon Grayson at the Stadium of Light while Allardyce left Wearside last summer when England came calling before then taking charge at Crystal Palace. Allardyce is 10/1. Other names in the running for the Everton job include, Carlo Ancelotti 10/1, Welsh manager Chris Coleman (12/1) and Bournemout­h’s Eddie Howe (14/1).
