-

Youngsters got to show off their high tech skills at a coding club.

Coun Harry Trueman went along to software company, Saggezza, based in Sunderland Software Centre, to see 15 young people from in and around the city take part in the 0Gravity club.

The club, which is running this month, is for children aged eight to 11-year-olds to learn more about coding and the digital world.

Coun Trueman, said: “It’s fantastic to see the business taking such a proactive approach to developing talent, and looking for a fun and engaging way to excite young people about the industry.

“I look forward to seeing many of these young coders pursuing a career in Sunderland’s burgeoning software sector in the future.”
