Society’s French flavour
Bishopwearmouth Choral Society is presenting a concert of 20th century French music in Sunderland Minster on Saturday at 7.30pm.
The chosen works are Maurice Duruflé’s Requiem, which was published in 1948, and Francis Poulenc’s Gloria, which is one of his most celebrated works.
Guest soloists for the evening are soprano Hannah Thomson, alto Isabel Cheeseman and baritone Richard Gooding.
The evening concert will be conducted by David Murray.
