A creative movement class for babies and toddlers up to three years runs at GCCP on Thursdays from 9.30am. Southwick Health and Community Forum runs the following sessions: Mondays: Healthy eating at 10.30am. Go along and sample some healthy recipes in a friendly environmen, cost £1. Healthy Walks, join the friendly group, enjoy a brisk walk around the local community, parks and outings, cost £1. Tuesdays: Knitting and sewing class, term-time only. Take along your knitting and sewing along, or if you would like to learn go along, everyone is welcome. The cost is £1, which includes refreshmen­ts. Wednesdays: Ladies’ group for the over 55s, enjoy a twocourse lunch, game of bingo, days out and much more. The Salvation Army also runs a number of activities as well as the Daily Bread Cafe: Daily Bread Cafe is open every weekday, Monday 9am to noon, Tuesdays to Thursdays 9am to 1pm and Fridays 9am to noon. Go along on Mondays and try the freshly baked pies and Fridays for a full English breakfast, £2, including tea, coffee and toast. Computer Suite: Open to the public, Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm, for anyone needing to complete job search, CVs etc. Craft Classes: Learn a new craft, such as sugar craft, painting and lots more. Cameo Club: Every Wednesday, a chance for the community to get together in a relaxed setting, friendshi, lotto, refreshmen­ts,bible thought and much more. Kidz Club members, who meet at The Salvation Army, along with parents and carers enjoyed fun filled community days over the Easter break with a visit from the Easter Bunny, the fire brigade, police and birds of prey. There were also bouncy castles and lots more fun activities. A big thank you to everyone who supported the event. The club meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 3.30pm to 5.30pm and members enjoy crafts, games, outings as well as a snack. It is 60p for children and adults £1.10.

Southwick History and Preservati­on Society annual meeting will take place at 1.30pm on Saturday in High Southwick Methodist Church, Thompson Road.
