Cole Porter classic is in the spotlight

Durham Musical Theatre Company is staging Cole Porter’s Kiss Me Kate at Durham’s Gala Theatre from June 26 to 30.

Kiss Me Kate is known for its witty songs including Another Op’nin’ Another Show, So in Love, Why Can’t You Behave?, I Come to Wive it Wealthily in Padua, Were Thine that Special Face, Too Darn Hot, Wunderbar and Brush Up Your Shakespeare.

The show is inspired by Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew and deals with the relationships of a company of actors. Tickets from 0300 026 6600.
