RIVALS MAKE DEALS

Three of Sunderland’s League One rivals made signings yesterday. Newly-promoted Luton have snapped up centre-back Sonny Bradley on a three-year contract, with his Plymouth deal expiring this month. Blackpool have signed freed Carlisle midifielder John O’Sullivan on a 12-month contract, with the option of another year. Bradford City, still looking for a new manager, have landed Bayern Munich II defender Thomas Isherwood, 20, on a twoyear contract. Ex-Livingston boss David Hopkin is tipped to take charge of the Bantams.
