The team of Blanche, Margaret, Marjorie and Judith were presented with their winning prize by Federation Chair Margaret Carter, (left of picture). The evening was a tremendous success and one to be repeated. The Hopefuls are wished more of the same success. Lakeside Community Centre has a number of establishe­d clubs in the centre such as carpet bowls, art club etc. There is a hall for hire for children’s birthday parties and anniversar­y celebratio­ns with a capacity of 75. Do you enjoy gardening and have few hours to spare? The project is currently looking for volunteers to help maintain of the community garden. Volunteers meet every Monday from 9.30am to noon.
