Talking over Tommy funds

People are being asked for their views about where the donations left at the Tommy statue in Seaham should go.

Seaham Town Council has launched a consultation to find out which causes should benefit from the pledges left at the Eleven O One artwork on Terrace Green.

Ideas include cadet groups, Armed Forces charities or the Seaham Field of Remembrance Project, as well as a panel of military organisations to distribute funds.
