Rovers secure Leeds striker

Doncaster Rovers have landed Leeds striker Mallik Wilks on a six-month loan ahead of the new League One season.

The 19-year-old, who has had loans at Accrington and Grimsby, said: “I see Doncaster getting promotion to the Championship and I want to play a part in that.”

League One outfit AFC Wimbledon have snapped up freed Gillingham midfielder Scott Wagstaff, 28. Tennai Watson, Tom King, James Hanson and Mitch Pinnock have already signed for boss Neal Ardley.
