Team Northumbria have resigned from the Ebac Northern League, just four weeks away from the big kick-off. The First Division looks certain to run with 19 teams as a result A league statement read: “We’re disappointed that Team Northumbria has resigned from the league, in particular with a decision so close to the season. “The management committee meets later this month and this will obviously be discussed then.” First Division rivals Shildon will now be given a bye into the preliminary round of the Emirates FA Cup.
