Owls face Wolves
Sheffield Wednesday’s reward for beating Sunderland last night is a home clash with Premier League new boys Wolves in the second round of the Carabao Cup.
Middlesbrough, who saw off Notts County on penalties on Tuesday night, were handed another home draw in last night’s draw which was carried out by Mick McCarthy and Chris Waddle at the Stadium of Light.
Tony Pulis’s side will welcome Rochdale to the Riverside.
West Ham will take on League One AFC Wimbledon in the second round. Manuel Pellegrini’s side will travel to Kingsmeadow.
