Houghton Wild Boar AllStars have finally won a game in the Swinburne Maddison Solicitors Durham and District Sunday Premier League - at the 11th time of asking.

The All-Stars have endured a tough debut season in the top division, but won 3-2 at Chilton WMC thanks to goals from star man Ryan Shaw (2) and Callum Barrett.

Chilton fought back through Billy Snaith and Anthony Local.

Elsewhere in the Premier League, Houghton Town beat Durham County 4-1, with goals from Craig Hennis, Gary Davison and Oliver Hodgkiss (2), Jack Carr scoring for the County.

In Division One, Brandon Sports Club returned to winning ways with a 7-0 demolition of Washington Westwood.

Scott Bryden hit four, Michael Fort scored a penalty and Corey Haslam and Jake Williamson were also on target.

Meanwhile, Chester-leStreet Hilda Park won 2-1 at New Brancepeth WMC.

Lumley Snooker Club are top of Division Two after a 7-0 win at Sedgefield Corner House.

James Laidler’s hat-trick was complement­ed by goals from Stephen Wood, Lee McBeth, Steven Shears and David Tyson.

Framwellga­te Moor WMC were beaten 4-3 by a depleted Newton Aycliffe Navy Club, for whom Reed Molloy (2), Steve Richardson and Luke Banner scored.

Bede Lodge Social recorded their biggest win of the season, winning 5-3 at Hetton Social Club, Daniel Mann, Jamie Robinson (3) and Michael Kitching with the goals.

Ryan Smith’s brace ensured Grange Villa won 2-0 at Lumley FC. Mark Greener saw a penalty saved and Liam Mitchell was sent off.

And goals from Cameron Arthurs, Connor Thompson and two from Jamie Arthurs gave Lambton Lions United a 4-2 win at Ushaw Moor Cricket Club.

In Division Three, a 100 win over understren­gth Quarringto­n Hill WMC tightened Waldridge’s grip on top spot.

Captain Jake Robinson and striker Greg Short scored four apiece, Ross Ellsender and Raj Singh with the other goals.

Hetton New Inn are second despite a 2-1 defeat at Bowburn, who claimed their fourth straight league win thanks to Alfie Pearn’s double.

Ashley Jenkins’ strike was the difference as Bishop Middleham beat Chilton Lodge.

And Hetton Social RAR won 6-0 at Witton Gilbert WMC, Aaron Walker with four and one each from Mark Knights and Samuel Holland.

In the JD Taxis Challenge Cup third round, Coxhoe Red Lion overcame Peases West 3-2, Jamie Dalton, Jamie Pirt and Michael Owen on target.

In the fourth round, Chester-le-Street Whitehills beat Langley Park 3-0 thanks to Bradley Graham and James Mansell (2), and Sacriston WMC beat Durham Rangers 1-0, Luke Wilson with the goal.

In the Workwear Express Durham League Cup fourth round, Sedgefield St Edmunds won 3-2 at Ferryhill Dynamos.

Cullum Johnson, Steve Flockett and Kieran Parnaby scored for Sedgefield, Christophe­r Devine and Jonathan Mason for the Dynamos.

Ferryhilly Community Hub are into the fourth round of the Stepys Coaches Presidents Trophy, after a 2-1 victory over Belmont Social. Brad Wilkinson and Liam Wright scored.

In the Durham FA Champions League quarter-finals, Sherburn Village beat Thornaby Oddfellows 4-2, Steve Ellis, Andrew Chester, Jordan Sanders and Tom Weirs with Sherburn’s goals.

And in the North West Durham Charity Cup preliminar­y round, Ouston Cherry Tree lost 4-1 on penalties, after a 2-2 draw, against Gateshead League side Wrekenton Blue Star, Jack Gordon and Josh Fryer with Ouston’s goals.

Chester Garden Farm lost 3-0 at Consett Top Club, and Pelton RAOB registered their highest-ever win with a 16-1 victory over Whickham Highwayman, Michael McKay with six goals, four from Jack Honour 4, two apiece from John Drummer and Luke Kerry, and Scott Graver and Scott McCardle adding the other goals.
