A tech company which develops bespoke webinar and webcast platforms for the likes of Sony and Pfizer is growing rapidly after moving to Wearside.

SoftwarespecialiststreamGo, which started life in Newcastle, works with businesses to build and remotely manage communicationsplatformson their behalf.

The firm relocated to Washington Business Centre last year and has since seen turnover jump by 90% due to a massive rise in demand for its services.

So much so, in fact, that the company is now moving for the third time in as many years, to larger premises on Sunderland Enterprise Park.

“More businesses than ever before are now using webinars and webcasts to reach new audiences and to showcase their products and services, driving enquiries, leads and revenue in the process,” explained founder Richard Lee.

“And this is what really makes us stand out. Not only do we create bespoke online event experiences but we offer technical support and provide unrivalled analytics, detailing how people engage with the content.

“We’re really changing the way businesses engage with their key customers and personnel.

“Our team not only remotely support presentational based webinars for global brands but also film, vision mix and stream content from internal town halls, conferences and events.

“It’s been an amazing year for the company and we’re surprised but delighted to be on the move again due to the growth of the company and the need for even bigger premises.

“But we’re ecstatic to have found premises still within the city.

“Not only will the move provide us with the space needed to take on new staff but it will also help us bring new products and services to market as we continue to increase our offering.”

The support from Sunderland City Council not only helped the company relocate to Sunderland but it also helped the company market itself better and enhance its product offering.

Richard added: “I can’t thank Sunderland City Council enough for its support, it has been absolutely amazing over the past few months.

“Not only have we moved office but we’ve also managed to invest further in our marketing activity and introduce new products.”
