Sponsors hope to bag a success

-

A Sunderland youth football club is hoping success is in the bag, thanks to renewed sponsorship from a city firm.

AGP Decorators, based in Sunderland, have once again stepped in to help Sunderland Uno Youth FC, who play in the Saturday and Sunday Under 11 and 15 leagues in the region.

Thanks to their generosity the team will be able to carry their kits in smart new bags.

Paul Mullaney, owner of the commercial painting firm was pleased to renew the sponsorship with the club on the start of their new venture:

Paul said: “I have known the team for a number of years but when this group decided to form a new club, I was more than happy to help them along in any way I could.

“I know some of the parents and coaches and it was easy for me to see that they are all fully behind the new club.”

Both Saturday and Sunday teams will have a quality kit bag for home, away and training kit as well as space for winter coats with the AGP Decorators logo in prime spot.

Keith Bell, Chair of Sunderland Uno YFC, was very pleased with the support Paul and his company is giving and hopes it will continue in the future

Keith siad: “Running three teams at grass roots level in junior football is a costly business these days.

“The funding from AGP Decorators is very welcome indeed and it is great to know that Paul can see where the funding is helping us make the new club look as professional as we can.”
