Leighton stars for Wear United as he shoots down Eagles

Leighton Fenbow scored an incredible six goals as Wear United triumphed over Velocity Eagles.

Also scoring for Wear United were Ryan Smith, Finley Waterson and Sam Philiskirk.

Velocity Eagles replied through Jake Reaper and Flynn Stokoe, who himself scored five goals.

Washington Lynx had Finley White (2), Zac O’Connor and Matthew Fairgreen scoring in a narrow win over Washington United Yellows.

Hetton Juniors Napoli are celebratin­g after toppling Spennymoor Town Knights.

Napoli’s goals came from Noah Bunker (4), Ayden Anderson (2), Josh Errington and William Ridley as the Knights found their opponents to strong.

Ryhope CW had Franki Collinson and Jack Evans on target against Deerness Valley Lightning, but Lightning responded with goals from Alfie Wilson (2), Ethan Harrison (2), Henry Thompson, Toby Reynolds and Jack Heslop.

Sunderland City Juniors Hurley welcomed goals from Ewan Rowntree (2), Lewis Anderson and Theo Timm in their success over Improtech Soccer, who had Jamie Steele and Hayden Casis replying.

Shotton Colts Blues and Sunderland City Juniors Ball played out a draw, with Taylor Armstrong and William Davison scoring for their respective teams.

Jude Graney (3), Luke Robinson, William Shields and Blake Foster all scored as North East Sport Albion beat Washington United Blues.

Sunderland Rokerties lost out to Hebburn Town Blues, but had goals coming from Oliver Smith and Rowan Welsh.

Lucas Bowmer and Kane Kilner goals eased HFC United Blues to victory over Wrekenton Nou Camp Blues.

James Questa scored the only goal of the game as Washington United Blacks beat South Shields Clarets.

Tekkers Northeast Orange stormed to a victory over Waldridge Park Cheviot, thanks to goal from Evan Forster (3), Harry Wood (3), Isaac Thomas (2), Nathaniel B (2) and Evan Brown.

Matthew Laidlaw (3), Gabriel Young, Henry Wood scored as South Shields Whites defeated Birtley Town Whites.

Velocity Scorpions welcomed goals from Lucas Mullen (2) and Lewis Breeze in their victory over Leam Rangers.

Joshua Nadrowski (3), Luke Hartley (2) and Josh Brewster (2) were on target in Washington Pumas’ win over Wrekenton Nou Camp Orange.
