DOUBLE DELIGHT AS JAKE SINKS UNITED

DIVISION 1

A brace from Jake Boiston helped ease HFC United Whites to a 5-1 triumph over Fulwell United.

HFC’s other goals came from Jamie Grant, Johnson Lay and Jonathan Kabongo, with Matthew Green hitting a consolatio­n goal for Fulwell.

Reid-Thomas Coyne bagged a brace for Washington Juniors, however, it wasn’t enough as Langley Park Hotspur claimed a 6-2 victory.

DIVISION 2

Cameron Gilray, Dylan Kidd, Fin Johnson, Joshua Chapman, Nathan Maughan and Scott Aiston all got on th scoresheet as Whickham Fellside Greens beat Burnmoor Juniors Whites 6-1.

Harton And Westoe Bulldogs stormed Spennymoor Town Castle to seal a 3-1 victory, thnaks to goals from Ben Flannigan, Jacob Macdonald Rennison and Ryan Judd.

DIVISION 3

Goals from Ben Campbell, Brooklyn Milner (2), James Thew, Noah Farrington and Riley Tait eased Blackfyne Juniors to a 6-1 victory over Bishop Juniors.

DIVISION 4

Seaham United came so close to getting a share of the spoils against Waldridge Park Ashkirk, only to lose out 3-2.

Ashkirk’s winning goals came from Archie Clark Jamieson (2) and Arron Fairless, while Seaham had Mark Armstrong scoring twice in reply.

Deerness Valley Lightning and Consett Afc Wizards had to settle for a 3-3 draw.

Lightning had goals coming from Charlie Shanks, Luke Prested and Tyler Watson, with the Wizards hitting back through Adam Joyce and a Joshua Fail double.

Lumley blew away Deerness Valley Hurricanes with a 6-0 rout.

Ash Batey, Harvey Ali (2), Jamie Atkinson and Matthew Drummond (2) scored the goals for Lumley.

DIVISION 5

The Terriers came out on top in the battle with Town 3-1 in the Chester-le-Street derby, thanks to goals from Morgan Deswert and Owen Carroll (2). Joshua Duncan responded for Town.

Durham United Tigers edged to a narrow 2-1 win over Durham County.

United’s goals came from Bobby Guy and Thomas Horsfield, with County coming close with a strike from Callum Shipley.

DIVISION 6

Bradley Richardson hit a hattrick and Layton Beautiman also got on the scoresheet as Washington United beat NSG Athletic 4-2. Cameron Wallace scored twice in reply for NSG.

DIVISION 7

East Durham Pumas shot down the Prudhoe Youth Rockets to claim a 5-2 success.

Harvey Elliott, Lee Roberts (3) and Nathan Lee Hunter goals earned the Pumas the victory, with Rockets replying through Edward Coady and Henry Rankin.
