HYLTON CASTLE TC PLASTICS EASE TO A STUNNING 11-2 VICTORY OVER RYHOPE FORRESTERS

Hylton Castle TC Plastics romped to an 11-2 success over Ryhope Forresters in the Sunday League Premier Division clash.

Goals from Sproat and Davies just weren’t enough for Ryhope as Hylton Castle went goal crazy.

The magnificen­t Callum Hope claimed the man-ofthe-match award after scoring four gaols.

Drysdale and Petch both bagged two apiece, with further goals coming from Gordon, Hodgson and Golightly.

Silksworth CW carried on from last week’s semifinal win with an easy 4-0 league win over Redhouse Last Orders, moving them away from the drop zone.

Harry Munday was in excellent form and bagged himself a hat-trick, with midfield maestro Gary Baker scoring a fine solo goal to cap off a sound win.

Southwick made light work of a poor Lansdowne side in a 10-1 win.

Southwick took advantage of the depleted home side and the goals flowed as Ross and Devlin both scored trebles.

Stokell and Kane also got on the scoresheet when they both bagged braces.

In the Second Division, Ryhope FC dampened Queen Vic’s title crowning thanks to Robbie Middlebroo­k scoring the only goal of the game to grab all the points.

However, the Queen Vic were crowed justified league champions after their excellent unbeaten run over the second half of the season.

Ryhope CW have one more game to grab some points to ensure they don’t fall into the drop zone.

They were beaten 4-2 by Park View, who have secured another season in Division Two.

The away side earned the points after Liddell, Brannen and Southern (2) scored.

Ryhope replied through Forster and Johnstone goals.

Steven Trotter scored twice to make sure his Board Inn side finished runnersup with a 2-0 victory over Kings Arms.

Myers earned a valuable point in this crazy 16-goal thriller with Washington Athletic.

The game finished in an amazing 8-8 draw, but Myers still have two game left to secure their safety.

Myers found the net courtesy of four goals from Michael Smith, a brace from Craig Richardson, with further goals coming from Keogh and Craig Raine,

Athletic responded with goals from Wilson, Kevin Hayes (2), with Middlemas bagging an amazing five goals to secure a point in a bizarre game.

Debutant Josh Farquhar proved his worth for the visitors with a fine brace to help guide Redhouse to a fine win over relegated The Grange.

Goldsmith scored twice, with Callaghan making certain of the win. Jamie Lawrence hit Grange’s only goal.

Penshaw are still in the hunt for a second place spot in Division Three and hopeful for promotion after a 3-0 win over Washington Blue Bell.

Snelling, Binks and Alex Simpson earned the points for Penshaw.

The Lakeside kept the pressure on at the top when winning another game and leading the pack for the runners-up spot and automatic promotion place in a 4-0 win over Millfield Free Gardeners.

Cullen, Waterson and a brace from Murton claimed the victory.

In the Fourth Division, Flynn Parke’s hat-trick for Velocity Blue House wasn’t enough as Washington Duke outgunned them 7-4.

Beattie scored another for Blue House, but the Duke were on form and took the win thanks to a hat-tricks from Graham Stephenson and Peter Smith, with Tony Ball hitting the final goal for the Duke.
