This judgement also included an ‘Outstanding’ grade for student personal development, which was described as exceptional within the report. Other key comments from Ofsted highlighted that:
‘They (pupils) enjoy school because they feel welcomed and valued. Pupils behave well and feel safe’ ‘Boldon School serves its community well’ ‘Disadvantaged pupils and pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities also do well’
Mr Noble, Head Teacher said “We are immensely proud that we have finally been recognised as a ‘Good’ school and look to the future with the confidence that we, along with all of our stakeholders, will continue our journey of success.
“I would like to thank staff, students, parents and governors who have helped us on our journey of school improvement.”
