Ian Hedley: The fans were pre-warned, had restrictio­ns put on them made to play in a half empty stadium and they still do it. Just kick them out the competitio­n. Simple.

Alan Parks: Teams should be kicked out of all competitio­ns and not allowed to play any internatio­nal matches for a set period.

From Monday, October 21, body worn cameras are set to be introduced in the Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service in the hopes of improving the safety of our firefighte­rs. The cameras are set to be worn during incidents by the officer in charge to further support the safety of firefighte­rs.

Paige Hunter: Shameful! Those that risk their lives in order to protect ours get treated with disrespect and now feel they have to wear cameras. Where has the respect gone?

Claire Rush: I agree they put lives on the line save people life everyday what would we do without them.

McLaughlin: He was there for his protection. Unfortunat­ely this just shows that another service is suffering. I'd rather him be on a makeshift bed then at risk. Victoria Graham: This child was in a bad situation, they did the best for it at the time, made a bed, kept it safe and warm and as comfortabl­e as possible.
