As police forces across the UK prepare to clamp down on drink-drivers throughout the festive period, do you think our legal alcohol limits should be stricter?

Tony Isles: During the festive season the police concentrate on drivers the next morning, you could have got a taxi to and from your works party and done all the right things, but get in your car the next morning, trouble. Please remember that.

Maureen Tate: If you are going to drink, don't drive, get a taxi or walk, at least you will be alive the next day to enjoy.

Stephen Marshall: Zero tolerance. Absolutely no excuse to drink and drive.

Sheila Ann Johnson: Should be no alcohol what so ever when driving.

George Rowell: Smell drink ya licence gone simple!

Rosamond Stafford: Zero tolerance all the way.

Billy Robinson: Should be zero drink.

STORY:

Miles of delays on A19 following two-vehicle accident.

Moira Haig-Samater: I see lots of work being done on the A19 no doubt very costly but wouldn't it have been a safer and more sensible option to install some solar street lighting. The roads are pitch black and dangerous in the dark. The masses of speed cameras around Testos roundabout are not the solution to prevent accidents however I'm sure they will generate a huge cash flow.

Julie Nash: These roads are getting scary, I actually panic now when I have to go on A19 especially in dark too many idiots driving like lunatics.

Susan Little: There isn’t anything wrong with the road. The problem is some of the drivers on it. Too many people driving far too close and others blocking the overtaking lane.

James Woods: Getting worse round here.

Lynn Turner: So glad no fatalities. Emergency services done a great job!
