-

isney Plus has launched its new UK subscription service, with a plethora of popular shows available to stream, as timely godsend for self isolating families.

The service launched here on March 24, after first launching in the USA almost five months ago, and already being available in Canada, Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand.

But you’ll have to wait until July for Frozen 2 to be available,

Disney Plus is a streaming service for TV shows and films from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and much more.

DAnd the question many Disney fans have been asking is when will they be able to see Frozen 2 on the service? In the USA, Disney this month released the film as a surprise on their DisneyPlus service, other countries following suit just a few days later.

And the film will be coming to Disney Plus in the UK too – but not until the height of summer, when all the family will be able to catch up on the adventures of Ana, Elsa, Olaf and the rest of the popular gang.

The subscription service will also carry a huge back-catalogue of Disney films with a wide variety of popular family favourites are available.

Around 200 Disney series will be available to watch on the service, alongside over 600 episodes of The Simpsons, and films suitable for all the family, including The Sound of Music, Lady and The Tramp, Cinderella and Mrs Doubtfire.

Subscribers will also have access to hit recent films like Up, Avatar, The Lion King, Monsters Inc and X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Similarly to Netflix, Disney Plus also produces its own exclusive films and TV shows.

A large library of National Geographic documentaries will also be available on the service, so all the family can enjoy educational programmes too.
