Fans workout with Luke & raise vital NHS funds

-

Thousands of football fans have spent their week exercising with Sunderland star Luke O’Nien – who has already raised just shy of £2,000 as he bids to do his bit for the NHS.

The wing-back has been holding daily fitness sessions onYouTubeinassociationwith Future You, with as many as 9,900 supporters from across the country tuning-in to exercise with O’Nien.

And donations from those joining the Sunderland star for a 30-minute workout each morning looks set to exceed £2,000. As of yesterday, O’Nien had raised £1,967 through numerous donations - with all the money set to go to the NHS Charities Urgent Covid-19 Appeal. Tweeting earlier this week about the donations, O’Nien said: “Thank you to all for your donations to the NHS. We are all smashing this together.” O’Nien has been holding his workouts at 10am every weekday, and you can find out more about his initiative by visiting https:// uk.virginmoneygiving.com/ LukeONien.
