Boris’s road map to easing lockdown in the UK.

David Brown: I don’t get the deprivation excuse for the high death rate in S underland i think its cobblers. The reason we have higher deaths than other areas is a high number of people have never bothered changing anything in their lives ie still going to people’s houses, socialising together and so on. I have witnessed this on a daily basis from day 1 of lockdown and the reason i stopped working. Paul Summerside: Lockdown as we know it will not be eased. It will be adjusted to allow certain essential things to happen. We will still be in lockdown, and still need to observe it to the best of our ability.

Paul Summerside: The reason why lockdown will be eased slightly, but not for the vast majority of us. Especially the older generation.

Sheila Harbottle: This will be another mistake by Boris Johnson, don't know where the strict lockdown was, certainly wasn't in Sunderland, with over 200,000 people with the virus and still going up everyday, can't be for real, to me this says go out get the virus and die like thousands of other people, I definitely won't be going out.

Deborah Rose: Stop stressing. Wait till you are told what's going to happen not off the papers that know nothing and just winding yous all up. You will probably be looking at another 3 weeks lockdown but he has to get the economy back up and running.

Susan Suey: Did i really just read that we have been on "strict lockdown" This is not strict at all, people everywhere, visiting mates, taking kids with them.

Ray Knight: Lockdown exit strategy. WHAT, while people are dying in their hundreds EVERY DAY.

Bob Jackson: With the highest rate in Europe and Sunderland being the highest in England, we're nowhere near being able to relax rules. Too late to lockdown and then ending it too early.

Alison Holmes: Hope hairdresser s open and phone shop so I can get my phone fixed, schools open as well. What ever happens it's never going to go away what ever u do it Sarah Ross: I hope he is clear with what he says x
