The Government’s contact tracing system has now been rolled out across England.

Phill Tee: So if you come into contact with somebody with CV19 the SERCO call centre will ring you and ask you for the names and contact details of all the people you might have come into contact with. So say you have been to your mam’s who is a worker on a temp contract so you give them her number, you saw your brother who is self employed and you give them their number. Now the ring them and tell them they must self isolate for 14 days. Your Mam no longer gets paid, your brother can’t work and you are on a zero hours contract so you have no money either. Meanwhile because there is no app ready (as used successfully in all other countries) the 40 people on the packed metro train you travelled on this morning cannot be traced. Not a chance are people going to give SERCO call centre their family and friends phone numbers. The system is laughable.

Gillian Rushworth: This country is a laughing stock words fail me.

Sunderland City Council's Conservative group say the Prime

Minister's closest advisor Dominic Cummings should quit after he admitted driving 260 miles to the North East during the lockdown.

Carolyn Straughan: Why not drop it and move on, I've been in isolation for 10 weeks, so what, Cummings going to Durham was worried about an autistic child’s childcare had no effect on me or anyone else, missing the funeral of a loved one would not have changed if he had stayed in London or not, it is so sad to miss a funeral but that was because of limited numbers, whether he's right or wrong I’m sure there is more important things going on at the moment, all I want is to get out of lockdown and until all the idiots stop going out and about in parks it won’t happen, start shouting at them.

Marian Leonard: Why should he stay I ask anyone? other people couldn’t see love ones buried but he can swan up A1 to his family then a run out to Barnard Castle to see if he can drive back to London. What a load of .…

Allison Gibbon: W itch hunt, leave it alone and move on, more important things happening in the world, what’s done is done, move on.
