Toothless Cabinet
I would like to comment on Tom G's rather naive letter that appeared in the Echo recently.
He says presenters like conservative-voter Piers Morgan “acted disgracefully” in interviews with Government ministers.
Perhaps, if they answered the questions, presenters and journalists might be more understanding but, more importantly, what can they expect when their Covid-19 response has been such a “world class” shambles?
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I can't remember Tom G admonishing the press about their abhorrent treatment of Jeremy Corbyn and Labour's response to antisemitism.
Perhaps he now thinks all Daily Mail and Daily Express journalist are now left-wing activists.
He says Kier Starmer and everyone else “should work together as one united country”.
I agree, but how can that happen when we have such a divisive and controlling leader in Dominic Cummings.
His spokesperson, Boris Johnson, had already set the the tone by blackballing their more competent MPs and replacing them with more obsequious cardboard-cut-outs.
The Cabinet are toothless and have no say in policy and hear about Dominic's decisions, like the rest of us, in the morning's newspapers.
David Byrne, Pallion.
