iscerning diners across the UK are getting back into restaurant­s and helping the hospitalit­y sector.

Every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday throughout August, restaurant­s all over the UK are offering discounts as part of Eat Out to Help Out scheme with many offering their food at half price.

But why should your dog miss out on all of the midweek fun?

The team at tails.com has compiled a list of the best dog-friendly restaurant­s offering the discount so you don’t have to leave your pooch behind.

There are a number of dog friendly eateries in Scotland (Glasgow and Edinburgh), Manchester, Leeds, Cardiff, London, Coventry, Belfast, and Derby.

On the list of dog-friendly eateries the team at dog food company tails.com include near Glasgow Botanic Gardens is independen­t eaterie Atrium Coffee House, also S’mug coffee Bar, Brel, Bar Soba, Hotel du Vin & Bistro, Jelly Hill Cafe Bar and Epicures.

DEdinburgh also has its fair share of dog-friendly restaurant­s near Harrison Park. These include Tea & Sympathy, Etore’s, Odds & Ends, The Fountain, First Coast and The Garden Bistro.
