EIBA take tough call to cancel nationals
Hope’s were raised when the EIBA confirmed last season’s 2019/20 cancelled National Championships would take place in November plus the draw for this season’s 2020/21 singles and pairs would finally see the sport see some competitive action.
Sadly following the government’s restrictions announced this week which a re l i ke l y to l a s t for s i x months the EIBA have taken the tough decision to cancel the planned November event and all of this season’s national competitions.
It is now hoped to run the beleaguered 2019/20 finals stages in April next year.

B owl s E n g l a n d h ave n a m e d th e i r p rov i s i o n a l h i g h p e r f o r m a n c e s qu a d for the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, ten para-athletes will also be included on the high performance program.
