New North East lockdown restrictions. More details on what they mean for people.

Emily Hendry Natton:

I feel sorry for the pubs always getting the blame when they go by all the rules thats laid down what about supermarkets they dont do track and trace picking up things then putting them back down whats to say someone hasn't picked up a virus there in the first place

Amy Mckie: Can’t sit in pub with anyone but can sit in the beer garden Makes sense. The virus knows when you're inside or out and what time to kick in... when the 7th person rocks up. But stays away if you have a gun and you're out hunting and have 29 mates with you.

Margaret Thompson: In the beginning we should have isolated as many as we could traced their contacts and quarantined them and left the rest to normal living if you get it or are in contact and don’t isolate you should be carted off to a facility with your whole family for 2 weeks or so mandatory isolation

Paul Hurt: It’s closing venues by the back door. Avoiding compensations for loss of business, staff wages as they've closed under their own choice.

If this is not a short term/ fixed term solution watch liquidation, redundancies, having to be covered by government as there is no longer a business to pay, increased unemployment (6 months before you can retrain or actually get extra help and support finding work). Stop the sale of "exemption" cards make it a medical register and enforce on the buses with police catching random buses using CCTV to confirm those who suddenly put a mask on. It's not rocket science, the mantra hands face space is the only long term plan along with covid security measures at work and in hospitality. At home its down to you to your decisions.

Margy James: When are people going to listen the only reason this is spreading is because people won’t do as there told it’s not the government it’s the people who think they won’t get it or spread it stop blaming others for your behaviour.

Makin Lisa: At this point i would feel safer if the corona virus held a press conference telling us how it is going to protect us from the government

Loughton Jill: I have a great way to get around this get your family and friends to go to the same pub and video chat each other by the end of the night you will be throwing paper planes with messages on them
