Hayley Forrest: Something to be mindful of is that during lockdown a lot of surgeries were delayed. Some patients are having their pain symptoms managed by painkiller­s until their surgeries.

Pamela Laws: I agree. Been waiting to see a surgeon since January. Just keep taking the tablets is all you can do.

Gayle Dent: A lot of surgeries have been delayed.

Colin Cook: I have arthritis and all my Dr gives me for my pain is paracetamo­l and codeine as anything else counteract with other pills I take.

The mother of murdered Sunderland schoolgirl Nikki Allan has thanked the people who have supported her on the anniversar­y of her daughter’s death.

Helen Scott: My heart aches for this poor woman, hope she gets the answers soon, so she can try and heal.
