A free vaccine taxi trip is just the ticket
Uber is offering free taxi rides for people getting vaccinated at Sunderland Nightingale Hospital.
In line with the cost of an average fare, Uber will cover up to £15 of passengers’ trips by entering the correct promotion code for the mass-vaccination hub they are travelling to in the app ahead of booking their journey.
The free trips, which are being offered to a number of mass vaccination hubs across the country, will help the most vulnerable travel safely to receive the life-saving coronavirus vaccine.
Thousand have claimed a free trip to the original seven mass-vaccination hubs, enablingpeople to receive the jab and supporting the UK Government as it fights the coronavirus pandemic.

Europe, said: “It’s vital that the most vulnerable people in our society are vaccinated against the virus as soon as possible, and we want to help remove any barriers that could prevent them from travelling safely to get their jab.”
