The six finalists for an online talent contest set up by the Bradley Lowery Foundation have been announced ahead of the final tomorrow.

The finalists in the Bradley Lowery Foundation’s answer to Britain’s Got Talent have been announced after the public chose from more than 25 entrants.

Six finalists have been selected after the charity showcased the talents of children, aged 16 and under, from martial arts and acrobatics to singing and dancing over the last seven weeks.

The final, which will take place at 6pm tomorrow, will be streamed on the Bradley Lowery Foundation’s YouTube channel.

The lucky six finalists from across the North East include 10-year-old singer Leila Liddle; 13-year-old singer Tilly Tiplady; seven-year-old singer Amelia Measor; eightyear-old singer Millie King; 13-year-old singer Izzy Morton and 13-year-old gymnast, Alex White.

Lynn Murphy, head of communications and fundraising at the Bradley Lowery Foundation and the host of BLF’s Got Talent, said: “We have been absolutely blown away by the standard of entries that we have had in the competition over the last two months. We decided to put it to the public vote because we knew we wouldn’t be able to pick the winners; they have all been so fantastic.”

The Bradley Lowery Foundation has now raised more than £3million for poorly children across the UK after the charity was established in memory of Bradley Lowery, who passed away following a fight with neuroblastoma in 2017.

Each finalist has a dedicated text number for the votes to be cast on Friday.

Several local businesses and individuals across the region have also sponsored the competition which includes Hartlepool United Women’s Football Club, IGMOVE, Josh Mann, Building Design Northern, Crafter’s Companion, R.B. Commercials, Jake’s Jerseys and Holly Admin Solutions.

Lynn added: “I honestly can’t thank everyone enough from all the acts, the sponsors and also people who have taken the time to vote for their favourite act. Feedback from the shows has been incredible.

“With Britain’s Got Talent having been postponed this year, it has given people something to watch during these uncertain times.”
