STORY:

Long running restaurant San Marino to relocate after 26 years on local high street.

Jayne Iqbal: Absolutely can't wait, all the best for the relocation, Hanover is a gorgeous venue.

Kathryn Tatton: Well done to Ben and Elisa managing to navigate through the hardest year for the hospitality industry and manage to find a way to diversify their business not once (by offering takeaways), but twice by moving their already booming business to a larger venue.

Lee Johnson: Love San Marino, hopefully stays the same down Deptford. Good luck.

Patrick Roache: I worked there with Franco and Fausto long time ago, good times.

Jacqueline Jollards: As much as I like Hanover place it's a bit out of the way. Chester Road has lots of locals living on the doorstep, lots of passing trade?

Dave Harper: Really feels like the end of an era. Our son was brought up with this amazing place around the corner.

The reason they as a restaurant are so much better is that they treat you like family. Genuinely going to miss having you around the corner but we'll be popping down and I encourage everyone who hasn't discovered the warmest welcome in Sunderland to do the same.

Stephanie Carty: Great news! Obviously thought has gone into this from a business decision. Looking forward to visiting.

Paul Greenwell: Sad news but I've no doubt you will be successful Ben and Elisa. We'll be down to see you. Good luck.

Eric Fitzakerly: Super venue and two lovely people, the perfect recipe.

Marie Pike: A lot of hospital staff going to miss this lovely little restaurant. Good luck.

Claire Reed: Good luck guys, Hanover is beautiful.

Jimmy Potts: Best of luck to you both, hope to see you soon in your new adventure.

Paula Hunt: Good luck.
