Covid Plan B rules to end as Omicron wave has ‘peaked nationally’. Is it the right time to lift restrictions?

Jean Burnip: We’ve had nearly two yearsof it now, about time we started living with it. We cant’ keep stopping and starting our lives.

Ali Riley: Data isn’t accurate as many people are not bothering to report LFT results or go for a PCR.

Sue Tomlinson: Can we now have the airshow as we are getting back to normal.

Sarah O’Neill: A bit early, it wouldn't hurt to wait

Marie Carr: People moaning about restrictions and the minute they say they going to be relaxed they start moaning it’s too soon.

Emma Weldon: Yes live with the virus is what we have to do.

David Griffiths: Not the right time yet, but whatever he says is going to be wrong, let's hope he keeps his job.

Sandra Noble: There's still a lot of vulnerable disabled people in isolation that can't live with the virus.

Jayne Dixon: I personally think restrictions should be lifted. I think if people want to still wear masks and gloves then fine.

It's all about personal preference and common sense now. Wash your hands and be respectful of other people.

Jackie Walton: Variants occur all the time. Viruses mutate. It’s what they do and wearing masks isn’t going to stop them from doing it.

Dan Holbrook: Why is this even a debate?

Diane Hudson: Everyone just do what’s best for you!!

Nicky Huntley: Manage your own risk and get on with life.

Ryan Bewick: It's the right time to lift all of it and start getting on with life.

Stacey Welsh: Time to get on with life and live with it, its not going anywhere so let's get back to normality.
