This is precisely what you would hope for from a Mario football game. Easy to pick up, colourful and humorous with special moves, weapons and the opportunity to send your opponent flying with a charged tackle–dramatic and light hearted. The goal celebration sand defeat furies are rendered beautifully, and although you’ll need to work hard for extra gears, the basics still allow for a really great time.
For a super-fun, easy-to-play game, Nintendo have got it spot on once again. 9/10
The Quarry

This cinematic horror game borrows much from its predecessor Until Dawn, and hits all the right notes for a chilling experience. You play as a group of teens enjoying their last day in an American summer camp, but strange goings-on soon take a deadly turn. The slow-paced gameplay mainly involves exploring and gathering clues to help your protagonists make it out alive. The fun comes from the myriad choices you’ll have to make, with each one having potentially far-reaching consequences for the ending. 8/10
Diablo Immortal

This all-new multiplayer online action RPG takes players back to the World of Sanctuary to battle evil and all the monsters it can throw at them, and to discover the untold story between Diablo II and Diablo III. Fans of this franchise will welcome this new edition and can easily drop in and pick this up. Great characters and NPCs, and set in familiar surroundings, Diablo Immortal gives players a great main story and hours of adventure. Also available to play on iOS and Android, so you can take the experience with you. 9/10
Frogger and the Rumbling Ruins iOS

Frogger has come a long way since the 1980s, when his aim was merely to cross a road without getting squashed by a passing truck. Now, Frogger is an Indiana Jones-esque adventurer, exploring tumbledown ruins and searching for treasure. The puzzles are well constructed, involving manipulating the environment to reach your goals, collect gems and free trapped froglets. Plus, you have a helpful salamander as your guide. The controls can be a little fiddly, but it’s nicely designed and well paced for commuters to dip in and out of. 8/10
