Numbers add up at expanding accountancy firm
A leading accountancy firm is aiming to create 150 new jobs in the region as part of its growth strategy.
UK top 10 firm Azets says it aims to increase revenue by 50% in the next five years.
With over 320 North East business advisors, Azets provide specialist accounting and business advisory services to growing SMEs from 12 regional offices – including Sunderland, Wynyard and Durham.
The firm is investing heavily in the next generation of talent including hiring 25 graduates, school leavers and apprentices across the region in 2022 – and plans for more this year.
The firm has also expanded to offer a wealth management service, Joanne Regan, regional managing partner at Azets in the North East said: “We’ve got ambitious plans to grow Azets in the region over the next five years, expanding the specialist services we provide to our SME clients.
