Can you help duo find love?

-

Today, as it’s Valentine’s Day, two handsome hounds at Dogs Trust are longing for their forever love.

Despite stealing the hearts of their canine carers, Ned and Jimmy have still to meet their love match, so our team is determined to play cupid by shining a Valentine’s themed spotlight on the eligible bachelors.

Lurcher Ned is an affectionate, fun-loving and friendly lad who loves walks and chillout time in equal measure.

Ned can find life a little overwhelming so is looking for patient and committed owners who he can meet a number of times to build a strong bond before he goes to his forever home.

Jack Russell Terrier Jimmy is a sweet boy who understands the meaning of mindfulness as he loves to smell the roses as well as smells of other varieties when on his walks.

Seven-year-old Jimmy is playful, loves an adventure and is happy to travel in the car.

Both Ned and Jimmy require love nests in an adult only home.

All dogs want to love and be loved, and our fantastic rescue dogs are no different.

Every dog owner knows, how much companionship, loyalty and love you receive from a dog when you welcome them into your heart and home.

Ned and Jimmy are wonderful characters and we look forward to love blossoming for them very soon in new homes.

For anyone not able to commit to rehoming a dog right now, we would encourage them to consider fostering.

We are always looking for loving foster carers who can care for one of our rescue dogs on a temporary basis in their home until we find them their perfect love match.
