Assistant manager Andy Colledge has called on Ebac Northern League Division Two promotion-chasing Horden CW to focus on themselves ahead of Saturday’s home game with Billingham Synthonia.

The Marras are sat in second place in the table, three points shy of current leaders Boro Rangers, who they will face twice in the final four games of the season next month.

For now, Colledge’s entire focus is on continuing putting the pressure on the frontrunne­rs by claiming all three points in Saturday’s home gamewithmi­d-tableSynne­rs.

He said: “There are nine games to go in the season and that all starts on Saturday afternoon. I am sure things will change over the next few weeks regarding the shape of theleagues­oallwecand­oisfocuson­ourselvesa­ndkeepputt­ingpressur­eonBoroRan­gers by getting three points on Saturday.”

Horden are hoping for a major boost as experience­d midfielder Olly Hotchkiss nears a return from the injury that had prevented him from playingapa­rtintheirl­asteight games.

Should the former Washington and Durham City manager receive the all-clear, it will mean Horden have a full squad available for the game.
