Tory voters are at fault

- John A Lennox, sent via email

I am sickened by the Conservatives and their Illegal Migrants Bill and our ever increasing bills.

The Tories have catastrophically misrepresented the migration problem and private firms are profiteering. They have given lots of public money to private companies to cover up for the botched handling of their created migrant problem.

In order to create a vote winning “Stop the small boats” strategy, the Tory Home Office has not dealt quickly enough with legitimate refugees and asylum seekers. Since 2018, the numbers have grown from about 13,000 to 52,000 in 2022. To distract attention from their disastrous and catastrophic incompetence the Tories are scapegoating immigrants, asylum seekers and refugees.

The Home Office has paid lots of taxpayers’ money to private companies to allocate and accommodate poor and persecuted people. One Home Office appointed company has been run by Winston Churchill’s grandson and another firm relocated immigrants from rented apartments into six hotels thus reducing their daily living allowances. Another ‘booking’ agency has trebled pre-tax profits from £2.1million to £6.3 million. Hotel owners have handed over their properties to “out-sourcing” companies. One group has increased turnover from £5.98 million to £23.66 million.

Tory lies, incompetence and corruption are costing the British public while private firms are profiteering. Conservative voters who trust a party which tells lies, which is incompetent and corrupt, are truly to blame.
