A FANTASTIC Fazeley fundraiser is preparing to brave the shave this weekend in support of “the most amazing” woman she knows: Her beloved mother battling breast cancer for the second time in two years.

Mother-of-two Natalie Sisam will be having her head shaved on Saturday, May 11 at Toppers hairdressers with her mom making the first cut.

She explained: “I am here in support of the most amazing woman I know: That’s my mom! She’s the bravest, selfless person I know.

“She’s currently on her second breast cancer diagnosis in two years and it’s a hell of a journey for her. But she’s still pushing through and looking after everyone else as usual.

“Not only is she my mom, she’s my best friend, my world, my rock. She’s the most awesome nana to my two boys. And if I can be half the mom to them as she is to me I would be the happiest person around.

“Mom’s facing intense chemo where she will lose her hair, which we all know would hit anyone’s self esteem so I wanted to show her she’s not alone and I too will lose mine alongside her.

“Me and my sister and her three grandchildren are here to hold her hand throughout this tough journey again and raise money for this amazing charity at the same time.

“I struggle with fibromyalgia and without my mom I wouldn’t be able to do half the things I do without her help. I owe her everything.

“This is why I wanted to stand by her and show my support by braving the shave; We can both rock no hair together!

“She keeps telling me I’m mad but she knew that anyway. She’s so proud, my whole family are especially my husband and two boys.”

Natalie is also raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support with her shave.
