North Ayrshire Citizens Advice Service (NACAS) has officially opened its new office located in Vernon Street in Saltcoats and the newly restructured charity will be offering some new services at its outreach facility on Arran.

The organisation provides free, impartial and confidential advice on a wide range of issues, including employment, financial and the health service. It visits the Ormidale Sports Centre on Mondays between 9.30am and 1pm when people can visit the drop-in centre that is manned by volunteers.

NACAS chief executive, Nina Smith said: ‘Our new office marks the next stage in our development and we look forward to continuing our growth at an even faster rate from our new base, ensuring the needs of the community are the focus of all we do.’
