Family learning venture needs your help
A family learning hub is in the initial stages of being set up in Lamlash.
It will be for early years, primary and secondary pupils as well as their parents, grandparents, aunties and uncles and they are looking for input on the new venture.
Laurette Paxton, the family learning worker for Arran primary schools, is part of a team working with North Ayrshire Council under education and youth employment. Her aim is to work in partnership with schools to engage parents and families in their children’s learning in school and at home.
To shape the future of the hub a family learning conversation will be held on Thursday March 30 at 9.20am at Arran High School, where families will have the opportunity to discuss what they would like the hub to look like and how they can help shape the future of it.
