Darts success

Sir, Margaret and family would like to thank everyone who made the Donald and James Mackenzie memorial darts mixed doubles competition such a success once again.

Special thanks to Susan and friends for all help with the draw and for keeping the games going. Thanks to Andrea, Eddie, Vicky and all at the hall and social club. Thanks to Irene for helping to sell raffle tickets, Jimmy for putting up the boards and Phyllis for her patience with the mini bus. Natalie for presenting the trophies, James’ son for presenting the highest check-out cup.

The grant total of £700 was raised for ArCas towards transport for cancer patients to hospitals on the mainland for treatment. Anyone who still wishes to donate can still do so at ArCas in Brodick.

Thank you to all who donated and those that donated prizes for the raffles.
