Stoats Creepy Crawl brings spooktacular family fun at the castle

-

The team at Brodick Castle are getting ready for their spookiest Hallowe’en ever.

The spooky castle is one of 11 National Trust for Scotland properties taking part in the Stoats Creepy Crawl, a new family event being held on Saturday October 28.

New for 2017, families will explore the historic grounds at Brodick Castle, completing a series of spine-tingling challenges as they go. ‘Crawlers’ will have to guise for their prize, singing a song or telling a joke. Fancy dress is encouraged and there will be prizes for the best-dressed.

General manager for Ayrshire and Arran Stuart Maxwell said: ‘Hallowe’en is always a big hit at Brodick Castle, so the Stoats Creepy Crawl will mean even more families can get involved in the fun this year. It’s a great chance to spend time outdoors together, celebrating and sharing the spooky stories and horrible history that the castle has in abundance.’

Olivia Stone, marketing director at Stoats, said: ‘We’re really excited to be partnering with conservation charity the National Trust for Scotland’s family Hallowe’en events. As a Scottish company, it’s great to be supporting long-standing Hallowe’en traditions, with a few new twists too. Our tasty porridge oat bars, made with premium Scottish oats and natural ingredients, make the perfect snack to keep little ones fuelled while out and about, enjoying some spooky fun.’

The Stoats Creepy Crawl runs from noon until 4pm on Saturday October 28. Tickets cost £4 per child. Advance booking is strongly recommended – book online at www.nts.org. uk.
