Having spent many years holidaying on Arran, I moved here in 2016. As a nail technician, my ethos is to protect the integrity of the natural nail, hence my choice to work with CND (Creative Nail Design) products. The Company is solidly science based and constantly delivers new levels of effectiveness backed up by tangible proof. I have certificates in CND Shellac, Nail Art and CND Brisa UV Gel Enhancements. Then I qualified in all areas of waxing using the multi award winning Waxperts Wax. Developed by therapists for use by professionals it is suitable for all skin and hair types. Only hot wax is used on sensitive areas (facial, underarms and bikini/intimate waxing). The lower melting temperature of the hot wax makes it kinder to skin and more comfortable for the client. Currently I am working from the treatment room at Inspirations in Brodick on Mondays (late opening), Wednesdays and alternate Saturdays offering manicures, pedicures, CND Shellac and waxing. Woodburn Therapies
Relocating to Arran August 2017, I set up my clinic in Brodick Feb 18. Working from Inspirations of Arran on a Tuesday and Thursday. I qualified as a Holistic Therapist in Sep 2006, but wanted to help more with Injuries and Rehab. I undertook training in London in 2014 and qualified with a BTEC level 5 in Sports, Clinical and Remedial Massage. I am also qualified in Acupuncture for specific injuries/ conditions and now find myself combining massage and Acupuncture more and more for great results. Whilst I concentrate mainly on the Deep Tissue/Sports massage, I do love feet! I have a practitioner’s diploma in Thai foot massage and think this is the best foot massage ever!! My name is Helen Logan and I’ve been a dental nurse for 25 years. While working in dental services for Ayrshire & Arran Health Board, I qualified in Radiography, Oral Health Education & numerous other courses. As time goes by I feel that I want to give more... but for myself, I want to be able to treat people & see the benefits of what I’ve done to help them. I have diplomas in Swedish massage, Aromatherapy & Hot stone massage, I qualified with The Therapy Training school in Glasgow & The Centre of Excellence. I will continue to add to my portfolio with new courses/treatments in regards to what is trending as I’m very interested in how each different treatment can benefit people in different ways. I want to invite you to try my treatments - each one is quite unique in a way that they can all be tailored around every individuals needs.
