restaurants and takeaways on Arran enjoyed a resurgence this week as many opened for the first time since March. Venues with outdoor areas welcomed people at the start of the week and those with indoor facilities will be opening next week. Visitors are having to comply with social distancing rules and leaving contact details with proprietors, however that, and the fine weather, was no obstacle for those who returned to public places with friends and family. Enjoying the sunshine and food and drink at The Wineport in Brodick are the Sheridan family who were returning to Arran from Glasgow.
