Oh brother... who art thou?
SO YEAH, it’d be pretty easy for us to make a “Wow, is that still on?” joke. And even easier to be snippily sarcastic and joke that if you’d tuned in recently, you could be forgiven for having absolutely no idea that this was the Celebrity version.
I mean, that’s all completely true, but it’s probably a bit obvious and lazy.
Although this series has been particularly suspect when it comes to that celeb tag.
Full of people who have ‘made’ their ‘names’ on a host of other reality TV shows and who your average man and woman in the street wouldn’t have been able to pick out of a line-up. And probably still can’t.
The more well-known names in the house didn’t last long – with Christopher Biggins’ removal being amongst the notable early incidents. And instead viewers have been kept entertained by reality rejects with a penchant for getting their clothes off and engaging in explosive rows – all of which have involved a certain Stephen Bear (an Ex on the Beach ‘star’, apparently).
And despite seeming to be one of the most hated housemates ever, the unbearable Bear is still in there along with disgraced EastEnder Ricky Norwood and Geordie Shore babe Marnie Simpson, plus Americans Renee Graziano, Aubrey O’Day and Frankie Grande (nope, us neither). Now it’s down to the public to vote for who they want to win and choose who will take the crown most recently held by the very regal Scotty T.
After the lovely Emma Willis has interviewed each of the final six – including the winner – there’ll also be a final edition of BBBOTS, hosted by the REAL star of CBB, Rylan Clark-Neal.
