Court Reporter VILE Neil Terry has admitted sneaking into a caravan and lifting a woman’s duvet to watch her lying there naked.

The 46-year-old crept into the mobile home in Whitley Bay to target his unsuspecting victim for sex kicks.

A court heard Terry made no recording of what he saw but he has pleaded guilty to voyeurism.

The charge stated that for “sexual gratification you observed a woman doing a private act, something she did not consent to being observed”.

His case was adjourned for presentence reports to be compiled and he was further released on conditional bail.

Judge Paul Sloan QC, at Newcastle Crown Court, told him: “I’m going to adjourn sentence in your case until April 19, that’s the next date you must attend this court building.

“I’m directing the preparation of a pre-sentence report.

“You must understand the fact I’m adjourning sentence and directing the preparation of a presentence report is not an indication of the sentence that will be imposed – that will be a matter for the judge who hears your case in due course.”

The offence happened on July 31 last year.

At a previous hearing it was claimed that Terry had used his mobile phone either as a light to see the victim or to poossible record her.

But prosecutor Emma Dowling said: “Nothing was found on the phone.

“It’s not clear he actually managed to record.”

No further details will be revealed until Terry, of Buckingham Street, Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire, is sentenced next month.
