LAST’S year’s Britain’s Got Talent winner, illusionist Richard Jones, is the latest to try his luck in TV land as he delivers a special performance to his former Army comrades for this one-off special show.
Jones, who served as a lance corporal with the Parachute Regiment, shows off his unique brand of ‘morale-boosting magic’ in a display designed to cater to everyone from new recruits to decorated veterans and celebrity guests, including forces’ sweetheart Katherine Jenkins.
MAIGRET’S NIGHT AT THE CROSSROADS Tomorrow, ITV, 8pm
LAST Easter, viewers were treated to their first sight of Rowan Atkinson as Commissaire Jules Maigret of Paris’s Brigade Criminelle.
In this third of four instalment cases (the second was broadcast at Christmas), Maigret must discover why a diamond merchant has been murdered.
His body has been found in the rural home of Dane Carl Andersen, who becomes the chief suspect.
However, Maigret begins to wonder if somebody else living in the secretive community may be responsible.
BROADCHURCH Monday, ITV, 9pm
THE third and final series of Chris Chibnall’s crime drama set in a Dorset seaside town reaches a conclusion after a multitude of twist and turns, countless red herrings and numerous suspects with shaky alibis.
In the last episode the truth is revealed as detectives Alec Hardy (David Tennant) and Ellie Miller (Olivia Colman) untangle the web of deceit surrounding the rape of Trish Winterman (Julie Hesmondhalgh).

NEW series. Dapper 24-year-old Will is looking for a woman to share his love of the countryside, but he has never had a girlfriend and is not a natural when it comes to chatting up a lady.

Mum-of-two Emma, 47, is all glammed up and ready to play the love lottery, but Cupid throws a huge surprise her way, and when the man who broke her heart walks through the door the drama begins.
CONFESSIONS OF A JUNIOR DOCTOR Wednesday, Channel 4, 9pm
FILMED at the height of the
junior doctors crisis in 2016, this new documentary series explores the story of the NHS in unprecedented times, told by some of the 60,000 junior doctors working on the front line in NHS hospitals.
Working in every department, from A&E to operating theatres, junior doctors face increasing pressure as the NHS struggles to cope with the rising number of patients.
The first episode follows graduates as they begin to understand the reality of their new careers.
JOANNA LUMLEY’S POSTCARDS
Thursday, ITV, 8.30pm IN 2010, Joanna Lumley travelled the length of the River Nile from mouth to source.
To kick-off this new six-part travelogue series, in which she recalls some of her journeys to far-flung places across the globe, the Ab Fab actress looks back on her 4,000-mile journey along the Nile.
Highlights of her trip of a lifetime include riding a camel named Charlie Brown to Egypt’s pyramids at Giza, her tour of the ancient tomb of Kushite Queen Qalhata in Sudan, filled with fascinating hieroglyphics, and undergoing a Sudanese beauty treatment that involved sitting over a charcoal fire.
HAVE I GOT NEWS FOR YOU Friday, BBC1, 9pm
THE topical news quiz, still featuring original team captains Ian Hislop and Paul Merton, returns for the first instalment of its 53rd series.
As usual the duo are joined by two guests from the world of comedy, journalism and current affairs, while a guest host tries to maintain command of the proceedings.
Stepping into the hot seat for this edition is acting legend Sir Patrick Stewart.
