Boyfriend’s fake bake Toon joke looks to be Shear class
JESSICA’S REQUEST LEAVES HER A TWITTER SENSATION
A GATESHEAD teen was left mortified when her Shearer super-fan boyfriend got creative while helping her do her fake tan.
Jessica Dear was stuck with the Toon legend’s name and shirt number on her back for days thanks to prankster Tom Milne.
The 19-year-old decided to ask her boyfriend of almost two years for help to tan her back as she couldn’t reach but was soon filled with regret.
The student said: “He put absolutely loads of tan on and I could feel him writing something.
“I said ‘oh my god, what are you doing?’ and I could hear him laughing.
“When he said he’d wrote Shearer 9, I asked him to quickly take a photo so I could put it on Twitter.
“I couldn’t really shout at him because I’d asked him to do it but I didn’t expect him to do something like that.
“He was really pleased with himself, he thought it was really funny.
“It was the first time I’d asked him to do it and I can honestly say I‘ll never ask him again!”
Jessica was stuck with the former NUFC striker’s name on her for two days despite Tom, also 19, trying to cover his antics with more tan.
Her post was retweeted and liked hundreds of times and has made its way around various Newcastle United fan pages with some boyfriends threatening to copy Tom’s joke.
Jessica added: “I was going out the next day and a lot of my friends had already seen the picture on Twitter so they wanted to see it, it was so embarrassing. “So many people found it funny.” But Tom, who works for a crane company, got his comeuppance for the stunt.
Jessica said: “It had crossed my mind to get him back but when he was doing it, accidentally he got a big splodge on his own arm.
“He has really fair skin and it was medium to dark tan so that was a bit of karma.”
