A weakened Colliers bid to raise the Roof

ASHINGTON host Jarrow Roofing BCA and will be without striker Ben Harmison and Andrew Bulford, who are both unavailabl­e.

Wayne Buchanan also misses out due to a broken toe picked up in the recent game against Morpeth.

Defenders Shaun Henderson and James Harmison are both carrying knocks and will be given late fitness tests in the morning.

Visiting manager Richie McLoughlin said: “Paul Gardiner is unavailabl­e, Lee Kerr is suspended and Dennis Knight is away.

“Unavailabl­e due to injury are Calvin Smith and Ryan Burton.

“There are doubts over Anthony Myers, Thomas Bailey and Bradley Varga but returning to the squad is Lewis Brass.”

Newcastle Benfield travel to Chester-le-Street and the Cestrians are at full strength apart from Lee Mole, who is out with a rib injury.

Manager Colin Wake said: “It is the last game of a testing season but we go into it looking to stay off the bottom and hopefully continue our improved performanc­es.”

Newly-crowned champions South Shields travel to Guisboroug­h Town and secretary Philip Reay said: “We will be without Alex Nicholson and Julio Arca, who are both suspended.

“Craig Baxter, who broke his arm last Saturday against Morpeth, will also be out as he is waiting for an operation.

“We are hoping to take a lot of supporters to Guisboroug­h as we will be presented with the trophy. “

Guisboroug­h Town’s press officer Bill Perfitt said: “It is a crucial game and we have two injury worries to both our exciting young wingers Louis Goldsack and Steve Roberts. Apart from these two, manager Gary Forster has a full squad available.”

Morpeth Town welcome Marske United and United manager Carl Jarrett said: “I have been struggling with injuries and lads away but I am hoping to have a fully-fit squad available, with the exception of Reece Kelly who has a hip injury. Also, Aaron Ramsbottom should hopefully be returning.”

North Shields entertain Newton Aycliffe and press officer Jordan Cronin said: “Being without a victory in four games, Jon McDonald may use the Newton Aycliffe match as a chance to let players prove themselves ahead of Wednesday’s Northumber­land Senior Cup with Blyth Spartans.”
